About Me

My name is Marissa Shipp and I'm thrilled you are interested in learning about me and my body of work.

​

I have studied and worked as a digital artist, graphic designer, AV Technician and independent contractor. I specialize in AV lighting, client interfacing, custom design and artistic technique. Throughout my career, I have provided a wide range of services to a broad range of customers and enjoy providing the best solution that caters to their needs.

​

Past employers include local Austin companies such as Ilios Productions, Olden Lighting and The Werd Company, as well as Roberts Printing of Georgetown and High Tech Signs of Houston.

​

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Southwestern University of Georgetown, Texas with participation in multiple live-events educational classes and art-exhibition experiences.

​

Originally from Houston but an Austinite at heart, traveling and having worked in numerous areas (110+ events) has generated a personal connection to the Austin culture. While on the job, I dedicate myself to fulfilling a client's and my employer's requirements. During my free time, I enjoy staying active riding my bike and kayaking, as well as cooking at home, reading books and articles.

Lastly, I'm open-minded and like to be thoughtful, enjoy bit of fun outdoors and good conversation. I love to meet up for a meal and touch base.
