Multi-Media Work

This body of work attempts to create immersive experiences for the viewer by combining abstract visuals, audio and video editing. The works are stimulating by combining animation with music to invite emotional and imaginative responses. Ideal presentation is large-scale projection, video-wall or large monitors, and ample sound systems for major works featuring audio.
Rendering several animated files that follow a theme, often to music, then editing clips to flow with intended effects are how these works achieve their function. By using abstract and some organic forms that move through space, the element of time is employed and draws in the viewer without an overbearing narrative. Editing is essential to achieving the intended sensation and overall mood the video invites the audience to experience.
The ultimate goal of the works is to make people feel more alive and energized, by utilizing what other standalone mediums cannot. By being dynamic, these videos attract attention and investigation without needing outside context, instead inviting the audience to find meaning for themselves.
